A Place in the Sun Live Manchester 2024 returned to Manchester Central over the weekend of the 1-3 March 2024 and welcomed over 5,300 eager house hunters looking to find and buy a place in the sun of their own.
Over 5,300 visitors united at Manchester Central for A Place in the Sun Live overseas property exhibition 2024, all poised to take the crucial steps towards turning their dream of owning property abroad into a tangible reality. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as attendees mingled with hundreds of experts from all over the world. Whether it was and browsed through options presented by over 70 exhibitors. Whether attendees were in need of an estate agent, lawyer, tax advisor, wealth specialist, mortgage consultant, currency broker, language expert, or residency consultant, they found what they sought!
Across the weekend our seminar stages—The Hub, The Seminar Theatre, and The French Village—buzzed with invaluable advice from professionals across 65 seminars. From the nitty-gritty of the buying process to securing the best financial deals, no question was left unanswered. And who better to add to the excitement than the beloved hosts of A Place in the Sun: Jasmine Harman, Laura Hamilton, and Lee Juggurnauth. The dream team met attendees, answered burning questions, and shared their property wisdom. They all also took the time to meet with visitors at the A Place in the Sun Help Desk for selfies and to sign Show Guides.
Saturday saw Lee joined by Erica and Ian, participants from a previous episode of the A Place in the Sun TV show. Their journey led them to acquire a property on the Fuerteventura, and they returned to Manchester Central to recount their experiences of the purchase process, working with the TV crew, and life after the cameras stopped rolling. Our production crew were conducting screen tests for A Place in the Sun throughout the weekend as well, and we can’t wait to see some of those couples on our screens in the future – perhaps they’ll be back next year to share their success stories with us on stage too!

Meet our presenters
We were pleased to welcome Jasmine Harman, Laura Hamilton and special guest presenter Lee Juggurnauth to A Place in the Sun Live Manchester 2024! They took to the stage, signed showguides and chatted to our house-hunters through the three days of the show.
