A Place in the Sun Live Property Showcase returned to Dublin on the 5th & 6th October 2024, drawing in house hunters eager to turn their overseas ambitions into reality!
The highly anticipated A Place in the Sun Live Property Showcase made an exciting return to the RDS in Dublin on the 5th and 6th of October, drawing in thousands of eager house hunters ready to begin their overseas property journey. Over the weekend, more than 2,000 visitors walked through the doors, all with one goal in mind – making their dream of owning a home abroad come true.
Throughout the two-day event, visitors had the unique opportunity to connect with over 30 exhibitors from across the globe, gaining invaluable advice from estate agents, legal specialists, and financial advisors representing countries such as Spain, France, Portugal, Dubai, and beyond. Whether visitors were just starting their search or ready to take the next step, the showcase provided a one-stop shop for all the expertise needed to confidently embark on their property hunt.
The excitement didn’t stop there! Each day was packed with informative seminar sessions designed to help attendees navigate their move overseas. From understanding legal requirements to picking the perfect location, our expert panels shared insider knowledge on every aspect of purchasing abroad. And as a special treat, A Place in the Sun TV Presenter Jasmine Harman was on hand to share behind-the-scenes stories and offer her insights, making the event a memorable and educational experience for all.
How did we do?
Our Dublin show was a huge success… but what did you think? Our survey showed that those who attended found the event incredibly valuable, propelling them closer with their dream of buying an overseas property.
We received around 170 responses to our survey to find out how we did over the weekend of the show and how it impacted our house-hunters. Here’s a snapshot of the feedback on how we did!

meet our TV Presenter
We were pleased to welcome the much loved Channel 4 TV presenter Jasmine Harman at this years A Place in the Sun Live Dublin Property Showcase show.
Jasmine opened the show on both days with an exclusive interview on the main stage, drawing on her many years of insights to offer advice on how eager house hunters can find their very own place in the sun.
Jasmine also met and chatted with visitors across the two days for selfies and answering questions on property searching abroad.
