A Place in the Sun Live Property Showcase Dublin returned to the RDS for another weekend of overseas property action! Over the weekend of 14th – 15th October exhibitors from Spain, France, Portugal, Cyprus, Florida, Cape Verde, Greece and Mauritius all flew in for our boutique overseas property event.
The Dublin RDS buzzed with excitement as over 2,200 eager house hunters turned their dream of owning property abroad into a reality! Visitors had the opportunity to have face-to-face conversations to gain invaluable insights with estate agents, lawyers, and other property experts, taking a giant leap closer to their goal of living abroad. If you missed out, you can connect with all the fantastic exhibitors who travelled to the show.
In addition to over 30 exhibitors, each day offered dynamic seminars carefully crafted to demystify the intricate process of purchasing property overseas. Our expert panels tackled all your burning questions: from picking the perfect location to navigating the legalities of purchase, they had it covered!.
But wait, there’s more! A Place in the Sun’s very own Jasmine Harman took to the stage, sharing her wealth of knowledge and insider tips on purchasing an overseas property. Jasmine’s advice for finding your dream apartment or villa abroad had the crowd enthralled. And the fun didn’t stop there – she was on hand throughout the event, answering questions and snapping selfies with excited attendees!
How did we do?
Our Dublin show was a huge success… but what did you think? Our survey showed that those who attended found the event incredibly valuable, propelling them closer with their dream of buying an overseas property.
We received around 170 responses to our survey to find out how we did over the weekend of the show and how it impacted our house-hunters. Here’s a snapshot of the feedback on how we did!

meet our TV Presenter
We were pleased to welcome the much loved Channel 4 TV presenter Jasmine Harman at this years A Place in the Sun Live Dublin Property Showcase show.
Jasmine opened the show on both days with an exclusive interview on the main stage, drawing on her many years of insights to offer advice on how eager house hunters can find their very own place in the sun.
Later on day one, Jasmine took to the stage again to catch-up with real-life house buyers from the TV show, Martyn and Shirley Wolfe on their journey to find a property in the south-west of France with a budget of £265,000. They shared their experience of navigating through the process of buying a property in France.
Jasmine also met and chatted with visitors across the two days for selfies and answering questions on property searching abroad.
