A Place in the Sun Live Manchester is one of the biggest overseas property exhibitions in the UK and was a huge success.
Attendees immersed themselves in insights on buying a holiday home or relocating abroad from a diverse lineup of experts, spanning estate agents, property developers, legal advisors, visa and residency specialists, mortgage brokers and more – all gathered under one roof.

2025 seminar sessions
Over the three days of the exhibition, we ran over 65 sessions across three stages – The Hub, French Village, and Seminar Theatre. The exciting schedule featured seminars, interviews with our TV presenters and panel discussions, designed to give visitors all the information they needed to take the next step to towards owning an overseas property.
THE HUB
The Hub stage had exclusive interviews with TV stars Jasmine Harman, Laura Hamilton, and Jean Johansson, where they shared insider tips on buying property abroad. Visitors learnt how to navigate the Spanish property market, explored visa options for moving to Spain, and got expert advice on planning their dream home search. Plus, we hosted our “A Place in the Sun TV Revisited” session with exciting house hunter updates.
FRENCH VILLAGE
Visitors to the French Village stage gained invaluable guidance on buying property in France, from navigating the buying process to securing the right services for a smooth transaction. They discovered advice on planning a permanent move, including pension planning, visas, and healthcare including top tips for successful house hunting and insights on French taxes and inheritance planning.
SEMINAR THEATRE
The Seminar Theatre stage offered expert insights on essential topics like tax and financial planning when moving overseas. Visitors learnt about property options in Portugal and Cyprus, whether for a holiday home or relocation, and discovered how to save money on currency transfers, insurance, and mortgages in Spain. There were also sessions on the exciting opportunities of buying in Florida’s Sunshine State.
